"As is likely the case for many students, my attention was drawn to ComputerTraining.com by the advertisements I heard on the radio. They sounded too good to be true, so I didn’t pay much attention One day while sitting at my mind numbing, dead-end retail job I decided to take the Online Skills Challenge. I’d studied computer science in college and I thought it would be easy. What surprised and intrigued me though, was that it wasn’t. There were questions on that test that dealt with real world situations. These were situations that I, a computer science major, had no idea how to handle. If ComputerTraining.com could give me that kind of knowledge, maybe this was the right path for me.
I attended an information session to learn what the program was really all about. At this session, every aspect of the program was laid out for me. I was told how much work I would have to put in, how much of my time I’d have to devote, and how much the program would cost. I was also told what I would get out of it; Microsoft certifications, real world knowledge, a lifelong support structure, including job placement, and of course, a much better salary. After I sat in on a class, I couldn’t wait to ask where I could sign up.
I made it my mission to take advantage of every opportunity the program had to offer. I worked hard, attended every class, and for six months, dedicated my life to my future. My trainer helped me every step of the way. She encouraged every student to make sure we got as much as we could out of all that she and the program had to offer. By the last week of the program, I had passed all of my Microsoft exams, and started my new job. In that short amount of time I had changed my life substantially. I managed to not only to double my salary, but embark on a promising new career path and a future that seemed so far away only six months ago.
I am grateful for all the help and care that the entire staff provided throughout my time in the program. From my trainer to the Director of Admissions, to the Director of Placement, the staff was a valuable resource. They made themselves available every step of the way, and made sure I knew that I had made the right decision. The advertisements I thought were too good to be true are now, in fact, a part of my life."

"I am currently a student at Delaware State University with a major in Management Information Systems. I am very familiar with the different types of operating systems, configuration of computers, troubleshooting, etc. I came to ComputerTraining.com because I wanted to learn more in depth about servers and network security.
Now that I have learned about Vista, maintaining a server and ISA, my skills have strengthened. I am very excited to finally have a job where I will be able to implement my skills and abilities that will be essential to the company. I am certified!
My biggest concern entering this program was being able to come here along with continuing my education at a regular institution. I also feared not being able to pass my certification test because I am not a good test taker. I am very proud of myself because I was able to pass certifications along with passing my regular schooling. I challenged myself and reached both goals. When the going gets rough, don’t give up because it will pay off in the long run. Read the material that is given to you. Self test is a must if you want to be successful.
Coming to ComputerTraining.com changed my life in the sense that I am more confident in myself and I also have the skills and abilities to carry out my goals in life. ComputerTraining.com broadened my horizons as far as the network administration is concerned. I am now able to apply to IT jobs where I actually qualify to work there."

" Before attending ComputerTraining.com I worked for 8+ years in the mailing department of a printing company. It was a small family owned firm and there was really no room for advancement. In addition, the printing industry as a whole is on the decline. I felt that it was a time for a change. I had always been interested in technology and I had a basic knowledge of and used computers everyday on my job, but by no stretch of the imagination was I an expert. I had heard ads for ComputerTraining.com many times, so I took the Online Skills Challenge, passed it, found out more about the program and decided to do it. I liked the fact that I could attend school without losing the income from my full time job.
The six months that I attended school were very challenging. A lot of information is presented and a serious amount of studying is a must if you want absorb it all. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and was always available to answer questions or help us with various topics. As a result, I was able to attain two certifications before the end of the course and go on several interviews and obtain a new position with an enterprise systems management company within a month of graduation. Not only am I earning more money in this position but there are multiple career path options I can pursue which can lead to more in demand knowledge and even more income down the road. Overall, my decision to attend this course was the right move. I would recommend the course to anybody who is serious about changing to a career that has a lot of potential for future growth and advancement. As well as anybody who would like to improve their quality of life."

"Before coming to ComputerTraining.com, I did not have much computer experience. I had taken some basic computer classes in high school and I had some experience with working on computers in the Army, which is where I found my passion for Information Technology. I came to ComputerTraining.com to pursue my passion for the Information Technology field and because I wanted to get a better education and have a better job.
What I like most about my new career is the freedom I have on the job, the flexibility of the environment, and the atmosphere. My new position seems to be much more laid back and easier than any of the positions I held in the Army. My new position as an IT Support Analyst is going to bring a lot of new opportunities my way. I feel that I am just at the beginning of my career and I am already in a great position that pays well, and it is a position I am really excited about. The salary that my new position offers is much more than I have ever made and much more that I expected to make right out of graduation at ComputerTraining.com.
Before I came to ComputerTraining.com, I had a lot of my peers telling me that this program was going to be a waste of time and that it wouldn’t take me anywhere. I was told that ComputerTraining.com was just going to try to sell me a dream that I could never achieve. It feels good to know that they were all completely wrong. I overcame what they were saying by keeping a positive attitude and not letting anything get in the way of my dreams. I also overcame these negative thoughts by making the most out of the program when I was in it. I soon realized that I was learning more than I ever thought possible.
The advice I would give to new students entering the program is to make sure you know that you can dedicate time and effort to the program. The course is time consuming with all of the studying and testing, but if you can dedicate yourself to it all, you will find nothing but success.
The overall experience of ComputerTraining.com has changed my life completely. When I got out of the Army, I had no clue what I was going to do with my life. ComputerTraining.com helped me achieve a dream I have always had and it has given me so much direction in life. This course really has changed almost every aspect in my life in a positive way."

"I managed a high school computer lab and ultimately wanted to use my public school administration degree and my IT certifications to become the school district technology director.
A new career gives me greater opportunity for personal growth. It allowed me to broaden my technical skill set. My new career provides me opportunities with other IT professionals to expand my current IT contents.
My biggest fear was not passing the Microsoft exams. I studied harder than I ever had before.
Advice I would give new students is to make sure they attend class regularly, research supplemental references to prepare for exams and read the chapters at least three times.
A new career has decreased the overall stress level in my life. This allowed me to spend more quality time with my family. For the first time, I feel that I have a promising professional career."

"In the 1980’s I attended college majoring in Management/Computer Science. I spent most of my career in the management side of the business world ending up as Director of Operations. After spending twenty-three years in one industry, I could see that the position I held would not be there in a short period of time. After spending six months looking for a new job, I heard a radio advertisement for ComputerTraining.com. I took the Online Skills Challenge and received a call that night inviting me to learn about the program.
My biggest concern when entering the program was “Can I do this?”…return to school and complete the program? I knew I had the support of my family, I knew I could dedicate the time and effort. ComputerTraining.com supplied the rest. Hand-on training, a great instructor who understands the material, had knowledge, skills, and the desire to mentor the class through the program. This is what I needed. Now, I know that “I could do this.” With a lot of hard work, I graduated, passed several Microsoft certifications test and continue to study and test on my own.
I just recently got a job with a great local company in the networking department. I love what I’m doing and I can see a great career ahead of me, thanks to ComputerTraining.com.
My advice to anyone looking into ComputerTraining.com is new technology is being a developed and implemented everyday. Computer and networking skills are in high demand. You need to be prepared. ComputerTraining.com will prepare you mentally and with a marketable set of skills that employers are looking to find."

"When I started at ComputerTraining.com, I was a basic Tier II Technician with no certifications. I felt that certifications would be required in order to continue my career in the IT field. After much research and deliberation I decided that ComputerTraining.com would be the best avenue to achieve the skills and certifications vital to my career.
Some concerns and fears that I had were whether or not I would be able to balance work and class, and how demanding the certifications tests would actually be. But, after a few weeks at ComputerTraining.com, I felt that I had sufficient skills and knowledge to pass certifications exams.
The Director of Career Services was most helpful in my search for a new position in the IT field. Even when I started getting discouraged, she had a positive attitude which helped lead to a positive outcome.
For new students, I would tell them that it’s important that you always feel that you get your money’s worth out of the class. Ask as many questions as possible; the more questions you ask, the better you will understand the material.
The overall experience has taught me that working hard and studying to get the certifications was worth while, not only in regards to my salary, but also for the enjoyment of my career. Now that I’ve moved up in IT, I get to work with even better gadgets and technology. ComputerTraining.com has improved my life and career in more ways that I could imagine."
